So the first MMA event in the Nation's Capital is almost upon us. The MMAC debuts on Sat May 12 at the DC Armory. Yours truly is the matchmaker for the event. Seems glamourous, but it is, in fact, a ton of work and mostly work and not too much party. Ok, no party. The MMAC team has been awesome to work with and the show is going to rock. I have 12 fights on the card from 145 lbers up through the Heavyweights. UFC, Pride, and IFL vets; up and coming young guns; lots of tough guys from all over the world. If you are anywhere near the DC metro area, make it to this show! Click here for tickets and info--> www.mmacdc.com/tickets.html

Great job with the matchmaking. I see that some last second shuffling of talent had to be made. Did you have plan B's set up in advanced or did you have to make some furious last second calls around the country?

I'll be at the show supporting mma in dc.

Thanks for coming out to support! Both. I had some tough guys on standby AND made some calls the week of the event. It is tough keeping a card in tact for any length of time largely because of injuries. I thought everyone fought well and showed a ton of heart. My hats off to all the MMAC fighters. All credit to them.

      Sam,

Are you involved in the matchmaking for the September Show. I saw a quote from David Loiseau sataing that he may be fighting in DC later this year. Any chance he might be on the MMACDC card? He would be an awesome headliner.

      Chhers,
